William Pate Joins the Southern Pines Office of Poyner & Spruill LLP (January 16, 2008)

Southern Pines - Poyner & Spruill LLP is pleased to announce attorney William “Bill” Pate, a native of Southern Pines, has joined the law firm in its Southern Pines office and will practice in the areas of estate and trust planning and administration, taxation, corporate, and real estate law.

Bill graduated from Pinecrest High School in 1997 as Valedictorian and winner of the Jr. Builder’s Cup, which is awarded by the Kiwanis Club of the Sandhills to the most outstanding high school senior in Moore County. Bill received his B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001 in Business Administration and both his Juris Doctor and M.B.A. from Campbell University in 2004, graduating cum laude. Prior to joining Poyner & Spruill, Bill practiced with a law firm in Durham, North Carolina. Bill is the son of Dan and Sara Jane Pate of Southern Pines. He and his wife, Maria, will be relocating to Southern Pines from Chapel Hill with their infant daughter, Julia.
