Poyner & Spruill
LLP Team
Raises Over $6,000 for the Rocky Mount Area United Way Campaign
(November 27, 2007)
|
Rocky Mount – Poyner
& Spruill proudly participated in the 2007 Rocky Mount Area United Way
campaign with a team effort.
Steve Rowe, an
attorney in the Rocky Mount office, and a United Way board member, was
pleased with the results: “Thanks to everyone for their enthusiasm and
generosity, which resulted in a tremendous United Way campaign. The
money raised will be used to help make our community a better place to
work and live. A special thanks to Karen Bulluck for heading up the
campaign.”
Bulluck, a legal secretary in the Rocky Mount office, acted as team
leader, and got the competitive juices flowing. A friendly competition
between floors spurred participation, and nearly 90% of the office
contributed to the campaign. The Poyner & Spruill group raised over
$6,000 for the United Way. “We had an awesome campaign and because of
everyone's efforts there are many families in our area that will have a
better year next year,” said Bulluck.
