The Local Government Practice Group was formed to optimize Firm services to clients who work for or with local governmental entities. Each of the attorneys in the group has specialized knowledge and experience in areas unique to local government and local government relations, such as zoning, land use, public bidding, construction, utilities, and lobbying, as well as business and economic development.
Our attorneys also represent local governments in cable franchise renewals, and regulation of telecommunications, cable and utility companies that maintain facilities in municipal street rights-of-ways. This work includes negotiation of encroachment agreements and preparation of rights-of-way ordinances. Our attorneys have also represented several municipalities regarding uses of municipally-owned communications facilities.
For a description of our firm’s work in the areas of municipal and utilities, administrative, legislative and regulatory, government relations, environmental, and zoning and land use law, please see the links that follows below.
