RALEIGH, NC – David M. Barnes, a partner in the Raleigh office of Poyner Spruill LLP, is ranked as one of the state’s most influential lobbyists for 2009. The latest rankings, from the N.C. Center for Public Policy Research, are based on a survey of lobbyists, legislators and reporters.
 
Barnes is an experienced attorney and contract lobbyist practicing before the North Carolina General Assembly on multiple issues, including health care, tax and business and corporate affairs. His lobbying practice is enhanced by almost two decades of experience with Poyner Spruill advocating for businesses in the areas of commercial construction, real property development, commercial landlord/tenant and financial transactions.
