RALEIGH, NC –
David M. Warren, a Partner in Poyner Spruill’s Raleigh and Rocky Mount offices, was recently elected to a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Certification. The American Board of Certification is the nation's legal specialty certification organization, certifying attorneys as specialists in business bankruptcy, consumer bankruptcy and creditors' rights law.
Warren has over 24 years of experience in the debtor-creditor area. This representation includes representing creditors and serving as bankruptcy trustee and state court receiver. He is Chair of the Local Rules Committee by the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of North Carolina Courts and has served on that committee since 1996. He has served on the panel of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustees for Eastern District of North Carolina since 1989.
Warren is a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees and of the American Bankruptcy Institute. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy as certified by the North Carolina Board of Legal Specialization and a Certified Specialist in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law as certified by the American Bankruptcy Board of Certification.
