​Raleigh -- Poyner Spruill is pleased to announce Robert J. Howell has become associated with the firm’s Raleigh office where he focuses his practice in Business Law.

Robbie advises clients in the areas of state, local, and federal tax law, including tax planning, controversy, and litigation.  His practice spans a broad range of substantive areas, including partnership, corporate, individual, trust and estate, and employment taxation, including the application of accounting methods, such as like-kind exchanges.

Robbie received his B.A. from North Carolina State University in 1999 and his J.D. in 2002 from the University of North Carolina School of Law.  He also received his Master of Accounting degree from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School in2006.
