RALEIGH, NC -- Poyner Spruill LLP today announced that the relocation of its Raleigh headquarters and more than 130 attorneys and staff has begun. Over the weekend, the firm will move to the 18th, 19th and 20th floors of downtown Raleigh’s new RBC Plaza, thereby becoming an integral part of downtown Raleigh's revitalization.

The firm’s attorneys and staff members began the work week in 66,525 square feet of urban office space featuring 11 conference rooms, a spiral staircase offering some of the best views from Raleigh’s tallest skyscraper, and new works from some of North Carolina’s top artists. Poyner Spruill announced plans to move to the RBC Tower in 2006, signaling its intent to help reshape downtown and enhance the firm’s presence in the city.

The move will provide the office the space and facilities needed to match the firm’s growth. “As we planned for the move downtown, we were able to design everything from scratch allowing us to add unique attributes that reflect the personality of the firm,” said Bo Dempster, Poyner Spruill’s managing partner. “Everything from the conference spaces to the office interiors, to the views from the common areas, to the state-of-the-art technology we've put in place was designed to enhance our ability to provide the best service to our clients.”

The new downtown Raleigh office space isn’t the only change for the firm, which today also unveiled a new brand identity. A new creative campaign – “p.s. We’ve got you covered.” – has also been launched to cleverly communicate the firm’s wide range of practice areas and dedication to its clients. “We are thrilled to be in our new space in the heart of downtown Raleigh.
