RALEIGH, N.C., August 24, 2009 –
J. Robert (Rob) Tyler III has joined Poyner Spruill LLP as a partner in its Raleigh office. Previously, Tyler was a member of Hutchison Law Group, which he joined shortly after that firm was founded in 1996.
Tyler has been a constant presence in the Triangle’s entrepreneurial and technology sectors for the past 13 years. His experience includes representing medical device, life sciences, and information technology companies in equity and debt financings, technology licensing, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
In addition, Tyler is active in the Triangle community. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Museum of Art Foundation, a Charter Member of the Carolinas Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs, and a member of the Steering Committee of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development’s annual MedTech Conference.
