Bob Lyon serves as the firm’s Financial Controller. Since 1997, Bob has served in various accounting, finance and project management positions in small and large corporations throughout the triangle region. Bob has been with Poyner Spruill since 2009 where he currently oversees the daily operations of the Accounting Department; including treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, reporting, analysis and billing functions of the firm. Bob also has oversight of the financial management systems for the firm and is also heavily involved in projects and process improvement for the firm. Bob has an M.B.A. from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University and has a B.S. in Accounting from Roberts Wesleyan College. Bob is an active member in the Association of Legal Administrators and serves on committees for Grace Christian School and Midtown Community Church.
