Brian has a diverse financial practice and represents a wide array of clients in commercial loan and banking transactions, loan portfolio dispositions, commercial lease transactions and purchases and sales of real estate and personal property.
Representative Experience
- Representation of all parties in commercial loan transactions involving real estate and asset based collateral, construction financing, low income housing tax credit financing, HUD financing, USDA financing, and subordinated and mezzanine debt financings, including:
- Representation of agents and syndicated lenders in large syndicated loan facilities
- Representation of purchasers and sellers in connection with the sale of participations in large and small loans
- Representation of purchasers and sellers in connection with various portfolio asset purchases and dispositions
- Representation of lenders in connection with the restructure of loans currently in default (soft workouts)
- Representation of purchasers and sellers of real estate
- Representation of landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions
- Representation of depository and other financial institutions in connection with the drafting and negotiation of control agreements, lockbox agreements and other banking products
