Appellate Law

Poyner & Spruill has one of the most experienced appellate sections of any law firm litigation department in the state and has an extensive appellate caseload in both state and federal courts. Several firm attorneys are former law clerks to state and federal judges and have a broad background in appellate research, preparation of records and briefs and presentation of oral arguments. The firm takes a team approach to appellate litigation and combines the experience of the various sections of all firm departments to work with the appellate attorneys in preparing an argument before the appellate courts.
