The Financial Services practice group has earned a reputation in the industry for providing prompt, cost-effective and professional legal services. Members of the Financial Services practice group endeavor to match the resources of the firm with the needs and cost restrictions of clients. Using that strategy, the group has been able to assist clients efficiently in connection with loans ranging from a few thousand to hundreds of millions of dollars.

Attorneys in the Financial Services group have a high degree of expertise and experience in representing both financial institutions and borrowers in commercial lending transactions, including commercial real estate loans, securitized loans, syndicated loans, participating loans, asset based loans, business acquisition loans, bond-backed and letter of credit backed loans and transactions, equipment lease financing, agricultural loans and SBA- and FHA- guaranteed loans. They also advise clients on compliance procedures with complex state and federal regulatory requirements and assist in structuring complicated financings to customers of institutional clients, including negotiation of terms and loan document preparation.

In addition, the group is structured to allow the flexibility of bringing the full resources of the firm to bear on any specific transaction of a financial institution. Attorneys regularly assist financial institution clients in the development and implementation of new products and services. The group also works in conjunction with other areas of the firm, including our Real Estate, Environmental and Bankruptcy/Creditors' Rights practice groups, to identify and resolve issues with the objective of protecting our clients while ensuring that transactions are closed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
