A number of the attorneys at Poyner & Spruill LLP are certified by the State of North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission. Because of our certified mediators' extensive range and depth of experience, the group mediates cases in North Carolina state courts, federal courts, the NC Office of Administrative Hearings, before NC occupational licensing boards and in the American Arbitration Association.

Poyner & Spruill LLP's mediators focus on mediating cases involving land condemnation by the NC Department of Transportation, environmental penalties, personal injury and wrongful death, construction defects and fee disputes, health care, employment, trade secrets and commercial matters. In addition, one of our mediators is active nationally in bankruptcy and insolvency mediation and serves on Federal Bankruptcy Court panels in several states.
