Professional Liability/Licensing
Attorneys
Poyner & Spruill LLP has a multi-faceted professional liability and
licensing practice, representing a variety of professions and industries on a
wide range of issues. Our attorneys have in-depth knowledge of and experience
with disputes and civil litigation involving professional liability issues,
North Carolina licensing boards and agencies, their administrators and legal
counsel, as well as current developments and issues in these areas.
Professional Liability
Attorneys counsel and represent
individual professionals and corporate providers in arbitration,
civil and criminal litigation, and other matters involving professional
liability issues, with an emphasis in the areas of legal malpractice and
construction or architectural related negligence. The attorneys also work
closely with institutional clients in the area of risk management in an effort
to minimize the likelihood of malpractice/negligence suits.
Professional/Occupational Licensing Attorneys
counsel and represent individual professionals and institutional providers in
all aspects of credentialing and licensing by state boards and agencies. Recent
experience includes representation of individual professionals and institutional
providers in settlement conferences, informal proceedings, and formal hearings
