The Government Practice Group was formed to optimize Firm services to clients who work for or with governmental entities. Each of the attorneys in the group has specialized knowledge and experience in areas unique to local government and local government relations, such as zoning, land use, public bidding, construction, utilities, and lobbying.
Our attorneys also represent local governments in cable franchise renewals, and regulation of telecommunications, cable and utility companies that maintain facilities in municipal street rights-of-ways. This work includes negotiation of encroachment agreements and preparation of rights-of-way ordinances. Our attorneys have also represented several municipalities regarding uses of municipally-owned communications facilities.
