Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce Edward Sopp has joined the firm as a partner in our Business Section. Edward received his BA in Economics from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his JD from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University.
Prior to joining Poyner Spruill, Edward served as in-house counsel for Highwoods Properties, Inc, a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). He brings extensive leasing, real estate, and financial services experience to the firm.
As a member of the firm’s Business Section he will focus his practice on commercial transactions, contract drafting, and other transactional and general business matters.
