In a published interview with Business Insider, Diversity Advisor Cheslie Kryst shared her thoughts on the verdict and its impact on the legal industry’s diversity efforts; she stated, “Chauvin’s verdict is a ‘wake-up call,’ a sign that America will not turn a blind eye to racism in its society or the workplace.”
