Jill helps business and individual creditors protect their financial interests and focuses her practice in the areas of creditors' rights and bankruptcy. She is a member of the Financial Services and Creditors Rights' section of the firm and is experienced in representing secured and unsecured creditors in all aspects of Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy cases in all three North Carolina bankruptcy districts and in representing banks and other lenders and creditors in collection, foreclosure, and claim and delivery actions throughout the state. Jill also defends lenders against claims made under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and represents banks and other lenders and creditors in receiverships, commercial workouts, restructures, and note sales.
