SharePoint Designer

Job Description

Poyner Spruill is seeking a SharePoint Designer to build out the new Intranet site for the firm. You will partner with the internal IT team to design and implement content layouts and no-code solutions that will enhance the user’s experience using SharePoint and Power Apps. This is a 3-month contract position.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create engaging user experiences using out-of-the-box modern SharePoint Communication and Homesite pages
  • Improve employee engagement and experience by applying the latest modern SharePoint capabilities
  • Partner with the internal IT team to identify opportunities, designs, and intranet improvements intended to best engage the firm
  • Develop relationships with intranet firm page owners to identify opportunities for solutions and improvements
  • Continuously learn and seek information on modern SharePoint intranet and collaboration technologies

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to provide examples of past SharePoint intranet design work
  • 1+ years Power Apps and Power Automate experience
  • Strong user understanding of Microsoft Teams and how it works with SharePoint
  • Experience with developing web-based applications
  • Experience with developing content for SharePoint intranet sites

  • Has the new intranet site been built per the storyboard layout?
  • Are all apps working as expected? (i.e. – sections flipping, navigation working, etc.)
