RALEIGH, N.C. — Poyner Spruill LLP partner Steve Epstein recently earned distinction in the National Law Journal’s inaugural class of Family Law Trailblazers. The list of 14 attorneys from across the country honors those making a significant impact through an innovative practice.
After nearly 25 years as an accomplished litigator, Epstein’s own personal experience with divorce in 2014 led him to start a family law practice at Poyner Spruill from scratch with an emphasis on making a difference in the lives of his clients both inside and outside the courtroom.
“I felt a calling to help lead others through the tunnel from which I had just emerged,” Epstein said in the article highlighting his selection to the Family Law Trailblazers.
Epstein dedicates his practice to being a passionate advocate for the rights of his clients to remain substantially involved in their children’s lives even after separation and divorce. He focuses on protecting children from harm that often results from the divorce process. This includes drawing upon his prior experience as a litigator and as a family law client to assist his clients in obtaining favorable outcomes for them and their children.
