Poyner Spruill LLP partner Steve Epstein has been elected President of the Board of Directors of Raleigh Little Theatre (RLT). The non-profit organization produces shows, offers acting and workshop classes and camps for children and adults, and serves as a creative community hub for the Raleigh area. Epstein has been a supporter of RLT since his daughter took classes and performed there from elementary school through high school. He joined RLT’s Board of Directors in 2020 as a tribute to the importance of RLT in her development as an actress.
Epstein focuses his legal practice on civil litigation and family law. He is a Board-Certified Specialist in family law and a DRC-certified family financial mediator. In addition, Epstein has written four true crime thrillers, Murder on Birchleaf Drive (June 2019), Evil at Lake Seminole (June 2020), Extreme Punishment (October 2022), and Deadly Heist (February 2025).
Epstein will serve a two-year term as the RLT’s Board President beginning July 1.
