Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to welcome Madelyn Bruckel, Nick Christopherson, Joshua Magnussen, and Edgar Santiago to the firm as associate attorneys.
Madelyn Bruckel focuses her practice on high-stakes complex litigation. She began her career representing municipalities, schools, and other government entities, and brings experience across employment, education, and special education matters, as well as constitutional and civil rights litigation. Bruckel has handled matters at every stage of the litigation process and works with clients to navigate challenging disputes with clarity and precision.
Nick Christopherson advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, financing, and a range of operational and regulatory matters across the corporate lifecycle. Christopherson also draws on his previous legal experiences handling financial services matters to negotiate transaction documents and advise on complex deal arrangements.
Joshua Magnussen advises employers and fiduciaries on the design, administration, and compliance of all types of retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and other employee benefit arrangements. He also has experience advising multiemployer retirement and health and welfare plans.
Edgar Santiago focuses his practice on complex litigation in both state and federal courts. He works closely with clients to develop effective case strategies and advance their objectives. In addition, Santiago defends depositions and helps negotiate resolutions on behalf of clients.
