Poyner Spruill LLP partner Nick Tosco has been elected to serve on the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) Government & Public Sector Section Council and the North Carolina Association of Municipal Attorneys (NCAMA) Board of Directors. These leadership appointments reflect Nick’s ongoing commitment to serving North Carolina’s local governments.
Nick represents municipalities, counties, governmental agencies, and private clients across North Carolina in a wide range of land use, zoning, and administrative law matters. His practice includes advising clients on zoning and permitting issues, constitutional matters, ordinance drafting, annexations, variances, special use permits, subdivisions, public records matters, contracts, condemnation and eminent domain proceedings, and other regulatory challenges. He also maintains an active civil litigation practice.
As a council member of the NCBA Government & Public Sector Section, Nick will help guide the section’s programming, educational initiatives, and member engagement efforts through 2029. As a member of the NCAMA Board of Directors, he will support the organization’s mission of advancing the practice of municipal law and serving the attorneys who advise North Carolina’s cities and towns through 2028.
