Poyner Spruill Welcomes Education Law Practice Group

Earlier this year, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) published compliance guidance to employers regarding the application of various Federal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws to workplace issues related to COVID-19. This Technical Assistance Publication, entitled “What You Should Know About COVID-19 and the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act and Other EEO Laws,” has been updated several times by the EEOC to address new questions that have arisen since the pandemic began. In an article published in Corporate Compliance Insight, partner Robert Meyer answers common questions employees have regarding COVID-19-related compliance, including covering guidance from the EEOC to prevent violations of ADA, EEO and other regulations.
