Poyner Spruill Welcomes Education Law Practice Group

Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce Savannah Story has joined the firm as an Associate in our Litigation Section in our Rocky Mount office. Savannah received her BA in Public Policy from Duke University. She received her JD from the University of Georgia School of Law.

Prior to joining Poyner Spruill, Savannah served as a Summer Associate and intern for law firms in Georgia and North Carolina. During her time as a Summer Associate and intern, she gained experience reviewing and synthesizing contracts, conducting legal research, and drafting document abstracts.

As Savannah starts her legal career at Poyner Spruill as a member of the Litigation Section, she will be representing individual, business, and local government clients in litigation addressing business, real property, and tort claims.  Additionally, Savannah will assist clients in cases involving creditor’s rights.

“We are excited to have Savannah join the firm. It’s always a pleasure to welcome new associates into the profession. I look forward to witnessing her growth and all that she will accomplish,” says Poyner Spruill Managing Partner Dan Cahill.

Savannah is not currently licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina.
