Poyner Spruill Welcomes Education Law Practice Group

Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce that John J. Ferebee, III has joined the firm as an associate attorney. He is based in Poyner Spruill’s Rocky Mount office.

Ferebee focuses his practice on civil and commercial litigation. He works with businesses, individuals, and local governments in a variety of litigation matters. Ferebee obtained his J.D. from Elon University School of Law, where he served as the Articles Editor for the Elon Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board. During law school, Ferebee completed an internship in the chambers of a judge on the North Carolina Court of Appeals and a residency placement with a Justice at the North Carolina Supreme Court. He graduated among the top 10 in his class.

Prior to joining the firm full-time, Ferebee worked at Poyner Spruill as a Summer Associate. Outside of work, Ferebee enjoys hunting and competing in ranch roping events on his horses.
