Charlotte, NC – Frank Bryant, a partner with Poyner Spruill LLP, was recognized Monday morning at the 3rd annual “Under Our Roof” Community Partnership Breakfast as one of the 2011 “Heroes for the Homeless” for his volunteer work at the Men’s Shelter of Charlotte. Frank donates his time teaching several nights a week to help men work towards attaining their GED and improve life skills.

In 2009, the Men’s Shelter of Charlotte began recognizing individuals who tirelessly offer assistance and support for change in issues surrounding homelessness. The recipients work through the agency or in the community to raise awareness about the issue, provide life-changing opportunities for those experiencing homelessness and are impacting our community’s response to our most vulnerable citizens.

“I am truly honored by this award. There are so many people in our community who are doing so much to make our community a great place to live that I am humbled by this recognition,” said Bryant.

Frank Bryant focuses his practice on corporate law, and has substantial experience in advising and consulting closely-held businesses on issues of formation, governance, operation, finance, growth, mergers and acquisitions and succession. He received both his BA and JD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Frank may be reached at 704.342.5254 or fbryant@poynerspruill.com.
