Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce partner Jennifer Parser was named a top author in immigration by JD Supra. JD Supra announced the 2020 Readers’ Choice Awards on Wednesday, April 29th. The Awards recognize top authors and firms who were read by C-suite executives, in-house counsel, media, and other professionals across the JD Supra platform during 2019. In addition, JD Supra features additional reader data, including the top five most-read articles, popular related topics, total number of authors, and other category-specific information.

Parser’s article, “ Controversial H-1B visas and Green card Legislation Before Congress” was recognized among the top 5 most popular articles on immigration in 2019. JD Supra editors chose the 26 main topics covered in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards for their timeliness as well as their proven, ongoing importance. In total, across all categories, 235 authors were selected from over 50,000 who publish their work on the platform.

Jennifer’s practice includes a broad range of immigration and labor and employment matters. After completing law school, Jennifer received a number of law certificates, including: Certificate in Public International Law, International Courts of Justice, The Hague; Certificate on E.E.C. Law, London University; and comparative private international law, Institut Universitaire de Hautes Études Internationales, Geneva, Switzerland. She is fluent in French and speaks conversational German.
