Poyner Spruill Welcomes Education Law Practice Group

The City Council recently voted to give the go-ahead to the Poyner Spruill law firm to work on a redistricting plan of the City Council wards for the council’s review; the council had voted to hire Poyner Spruill to assist with the post-census project. In Rocky Mount Telegram’s feature about the August 9 meeting, Poyner Spruill LLP partner Caroline Mackie explained that the redistricting process for the seven wards will have to be substantially equal in population.
