Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce that partner Deborah Sperati has been named Chair of the USLAW Network’s Women’s Connection. In this role, Sperati will lead the Annual Women’s Connection Conference, held in Asheville in June 2024.
Sperati is a long-standing active member of USLAW Network, serving as the primary contact partner for Poyner Spruill and Chair of the Banking & Financial Practice Group in addition to her new leadership position.
The USLAW Network’s Women’s Connection encourages attorneys to further the status of women in the legal field through building personal and professional relationships, serving as mentors or mentees, and collaborating on projects.
Sperati practices in the areas of creditors’ rights, civil and commercial litigation, and bankruptcy. She also leads the firm’s brewery, winery, and distillery practice, representing businesses in obtaining proper licensing and permitting by federal, state, and local authorities.
