Poyner Spruill Welcomes Education Law Practice Group

Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce that partner Missy Jaskolka and associate Michele Livingstone have been recognized in North Carolina Lawyers Weekly’s Icons and Phenoms list.

Jaskolka and Livingstone are included among 11 other phenoms recognized as rising stars in their practice.

Jaskolka represents financial institutions and other entities in a wide variety of transactional and commercial financing related matters. She handles asset-based lending, real estate project financings, single bank and syndicated credit facilities, intercreditor arrangements, and financing to private equity backed companies, among other matters. Jaskolka has been recognized on the Best Lawyers in America® “Ones to Watch” list for her work in banking and finance law, privacy and data security law, and real estate law. Jaskolka serves as a Board of Director for the Secured Finance Network, Carolinas Chapter.

Livingstone focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation matters. She handles cases in state, federal, and appellate courts, representing businesses, professionals, and governmental entities. In 2022, Livingstone was honored with the Charles F. Blanchard Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the North Carolina Bar Association. She is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, currently serving as the Administrative Division Director.

Jaskolka and Livingstone will be recognized with the other honorees on June 13, 2024 in Raleigh.
