Poyner Spruill Welcomes Education Law Practice Group

Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce that Sheryl Gustafson has joined the firm as the Director of Technology.

Gustafson is responsible for leveraging technology to enhance Poyner Spruill’s legal services, streamlining operations, and ensuring data security. She brings over 15 years of experience directing technology teams in a wide range of corporations from those in the Fortune 500 to small enterprises. Gustafson obtained an undergraduate degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Gustafson is a North Carolina native, and after living and working in four other states, she is glad to return to her roots.

Gustafson rounds out the Operations Management Team at Poyner Spruill led by Marieé Walton, Chief Operating Officer. She joins the Director of Client Service and Development Hillary Eastwood, the Director of HR Nina Long, and Controller Jolanta Marynski on this all-female team which works to ensure the operational and financial integrity of the firm.
