Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce that Margaret Raymer has joined the firm as an associate attorney. She is based in Poyner Spruill’s Raleigh office.
Raymer focuses her practice on education law. She advises local school boards and public school systems. She assists clients with a wide range of education law matters, including special education issues, student discipline, and personnel matters. Raymer also counsels clients on policy development, relevant changes in law, and general compliance issues. While attending the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, Raymer served as the Managing Editor of the Campbell Law Review and the Vice President of the Lawyers and Leaders Program. She previously worked as a sixth-grade science teacher in Charlotte with Teach for America. Outside of work, Raymer loves to read and is a member of several book clubs.
