Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce that partner Nick Tosco was sworn in yesterday as the Town Attorney for Ranlo, North Carolina. Nick will work closely with the Town Board to provide legal counsel for a wide range of issues and to represent the municipal government in litigation matters.

Prior to graduating law school, Nick served as a law clerk for the Charlotte City Attorneys’ Office, assisting with lawsuits, land use challenges, contracts, and city ordinance matters. He also interned with Dan Clodfelter during his time as a North Carolina State Senator. Following graduation, Nick practiced in the areas of local government law, land use, zoning, and complex civil litigation at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP prior to joining Poyner Spruill LLP in 2018.

“With his knowledge of local government, skilled management of complex legal matters, and diversified experience, Nick is a wonderful fit for the role,” said Poyner Spruill Managing Partner Dan Cahill. “I am confident that Nick will provide excellent service to the Town of Ranlo.”
