Kevin works with municipalities, counties, and governmental agencies on a range of local government matters.

Biography

Kevin works with attorneys on a range of government-related matters, including disputes, land use and zoning issues, eminent domain and condemnation, and contract drafting and negotiation. His experience includes supporting the representation of local governments in property tax foreclosure actions, assisting with the review of public and private contracts for statutory compliance, and helping prepare municipal ordinances and resolutions. He also supports private developers and business clients in navigating zoning compliance issues and preparing materials for land use and permit approvals.

Kevin is fluent in Spanish and enjoys building relationships with clients across the communities he serves.

Kevin earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he served as a student attorney in the Intellectual Property Clinic and served on the Executive Board of the Hispanic Law Student Association. Before law school, he worked as a paralegal for Legal Aid of North Carolina. Kevin spent two years as a Summer Associate with the firm before joining full-time.
