Biography
Amy is a member of the North Carolina Council of School Attorneys, the North Carolina Bar Association Education Law Section, Young Lawyer’s Division, the Wake County Bar Association, and the Campbell Law Alumni Association. She brings training and experience in the area of school psychology to her practice and has experience training in a variety of clinical settings including public schools, hospitals, and private clinics. Amy represents K – 12 clients in all areas of Education Law, with a focus on special education dispute resolution, including issues arising under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and North Carolina state policies governing services for students with disabilities.
Amy is a Title IX investigator and decision-maker.
