Representative Experience

Currently representing craft breweries in a constitutional challenge to the application of North Carolina's beer distribution and franchise laws. 

Currently representing a government whistleblower in a lawsuit against two district attorneys and the State of North Carolina.

Currently representing physical therapists and patients in a federal antitrust lawsuit over patients' access to dry needling, a form of physical therapy.

Currently representing North Carolina’s State Board of Education in a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of legislation that attempts to strip the Board of its constitutional powers.

Currently defending a national lender in a class action lawsuit alleging violations of the federal Servicemembers’ Civil Relief Act.

Successfully obtained dismissal of federal antitrust claims against a former member of the North Carolina Medical Board.

Successfully obtained dismissal of federal statutory and constitutional claims relating to attorney's representation of confidential informant to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.

Successfully obtained dismissal of federal constitutional claims against a former member of a state licensing board.

Successfully obtained dismissal of unauthorized-practice lawsuit brought by North Carolina's Acupuncture Licensing Board against several physical therapists and a physical therapy practice.

Successfully obtained dismissal of claims for breach of contract, slander of title, and request for declaratory relief regarding the validity of a mortgage assignment.
