Poyner Spruill LLP is pleased to announce the addition of two associates to the firm in both the Raleigh and Rocky Mount offices.
Jamie Blue (Raleigh) represents commercial construction clients—including developers, architects, owners, sureties, general contractors, and suppliers—in all phases of construction law.
Jamie assists with a wide range of legal matters, including site inspections, depositions, motion hearings, and discovery processes. Before earning his J.D. from Campbell University School of Law, Jamie worked for more than 10 years as an engineer for large power, procurement, and construction companies. He utilizes those experiences to assist clients with OSHA claims, contract revisions, and counsel throughout the construction process.
In addition to being a North Carolina-licensed lawyer, Jamie is also a licensed North Carolina Professional Engineer.
Sydney Plummer (Rocky Mount) focuses her practice on civil and commercial litigation, defending her clients in federal and state courts. She also counsels businesses on various legal matters.
Sydney was among the top 10 percent of her class at the University of North Carolina School of Law. She was an accomplished staff member on the North Carolina Journal of International Law and served as Senior Staff Editor her final year.
