Biography

As former in-house counsel, Brenna knows the importance of understanding business goals and operations in the delivery of customized and practical advice in business transactions, ranging from day-to-day contracting, corporate governance, and ongoing compliance to larger transactions such as mergers and acquisitions. Such attention to client particulars transcends to her employee benefit practice, in which she advises clients on health and welfare benefit plan design, compliance and correction, and negotiations with service providers and governmental agencies.

Prior to joining the firm, Brenna served Healthstat, Inc. in-house in a general counsel capacity.

  • Advice regarding HIPAA, Stark, and Anti-Kickback compliance and drafting or negotiation of compliant notices, policies, and agreements.
