Day 1- February 1st, 2022

9:30-10:30 AM – Retirement Plan Cybersecurity: Kelsey Mayo, Jesse St. Cyr, and Hannah Munn
This one-hour presentation will discuss how plans are impacted by cyber-related fraud, review recent updates in fiduciary requirements related to planning cybersecurity, and offer practical information on how plan sponsors can manage and mitigate these risks.

10:30-11:30 AM – Accommodations Update: Steve Rowe and Brett Carpenter
This one-hour presentation will discuss recent agency guidance and case law related to ADA and religious accommodations and will provide practical advice for best practices in analyzing requests for accommodation.

11:30 AM-12:30 PM – Judicial/Agency Update: Susie Gibbons and Kevin Ceglowski
This one-hour presentation will discuss employment law updates at the US Supreme Court, Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Office of Federal Contractor Compliance.

Day 2- February 2nd, 2022

9:30-11:00 AM – How the pandemic has complicated employers’ lives: Kate Dewberry, David Woodward, and Nia Doaks
This one-and-a-half-hour presentation will address the current status of vaccine mandates and other COVID-19 workplace issues, such as vaccine incentives; practical and legal considerations for return to in-person work or the expansion of remote work; and legal considerations for employers looking to incentivize and retain employees.

11:00 AM-12:30 PM – Managing Risks with Your Benefit Plans: Kelsey Mayo, Jesse St. Cyr, and Hannah Munn
This one-and-a-half-hour presentation will review recent legal changes affecting benefit plans, look at changes coming on the horizon, discuss sources of liability, and discuss practical ways to add value by managing that liability.
